Site Description

Rosewood Meadows offers flat land with varying levels of drained soils. The pine plantation soils are productive with modern silviculture. This area generally supports deer, hogs, and some turkey.

Timber

Rosewood Meadows offers existing pine plantations that can be thinned a second time for additional income, increasing recreational opportunities, or increase future property sale potential. The pine plantations could also be clear-cut for greater income potential or to establish new plantations.

The merchantable planted timber was inventoried in December of 2020. The timber consists of 2002 planted slash pine. There are a few small hardwood bottomland areas consisting of maple, gums, and cypress species.
