Access

The property can be accessed from US HWY 441, using Samples Scales Road, and then Peyton Road. Peyton Road provides extensive road frontage on the east side of the property.  There are two main entrances to the land from Peyton Road.  Internal roads are good and allow access to most parts of the property, although a creek and a hardwood area may require some minor road improvement to access about 40 acres to the south.

Site Description

The topography of this land is typical for this part of Georgia, being in the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains.  It varies from almost level to steep hills with scenic views.  All of the 135 acres of upland terrain are planted in high-quality loblolly pine.  The remaining acreage is in mature hardwood species that are typical for the area.  

Timber

There are 35 acres of pine that are ready for harvest, while the remaining 100 acres of upland are in 2-year-old planted pine.  There is also significant hardwood ready for harvest on the 75 acres of hardwood bottomland.
