Michael Tragner
Michael Tragner – Principle Broker
Michael began his forestry and brokerage career with Fountains Land over 27 years ago. Currently, he works closely with other colleagues as he oversees all company brokerage and marketing activities. He brings to the Fountains Land marketing team development of investor contacts, property valuation expertise, strategic disposition strategies and creative marketing concepts. Much of his direct property marketing assignments occur within Vermont, his home state. He received his BS in Resource Management at SUNY ESF at Syracuse, New York. He is a licensed broker in Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, New York and Pennsylvania

Patrick Hackley
Patrick Hackley – ME, NH and MA Real Estate Manager
Patrick’s specialties include timberland and rural estate brokerage; timberland investments; forest management; HBU analysis; acquisition due diligence; and technical writing. He has an Associate Degree in Pre-professional Forestry from Paul Smiths College and a BS in Forestry and Forest Biology from the SUNY ESF in Syracuse, New York. Prior to joining Fountains Land in 2005, Patrick served as the Northeastern Technical Division Forester for the Forest Resources Association in Augusta, Maine. He lives with his wife and two daughters in the lakes region of central New Hampshire.

Todd Waldron
Todd Waldron – VT, NY and Appalachian Regional Real Estate Manager
Todd began his forestry career 21 years ago as Wood Procurement and Woodyard Manager with Masonite Corporation in Towanda, Pennsylvania. He joined Fountains Land in 2006 and now leads the company’s marketing and brokerage efforts in New York, Pennsylvania, West Virginia and Virginia. He has a BS in Resource Management from SUNY ESF in Syracuse, New York, and an AAS in Forest Technology from the New York State Ranger School in Wanakena, New York. Alisa Darmstadt
Alisa Darmstadt – Marketing Manager and Vermont Salesperson
Alisa graduated from Hampshire College with a concentration in ecology and anthropology. She did her undergraduate thesis at Harvard Forest on land protection patterns. Alisa has worked as a Planning and Zoning Administrator, ran her own interior decorating business for six years and raised three sons. She joined the Montpelier, Vermont, office of Fountains Land in January of 2013, working in marketing and administration. In March of 2016, she earned her Vermont Real Estate Salesperson license

Mark Rabon
Mark Rabon – Maine Salesperson
Mark’s real estate career began in Vermont in 1995 before he returned to Maine and the forest products industry a few years later. Mark graduated from the University of New Hampshire with a BS and a MS, both in Forest Management. He is a Maine Licensed Forester, a Certified Forester with the Society of American Foresters and an American Tree Farm Inspector. After almost 20 years in the Forest Products Industry, Mark established the consulting firm Integrated Forest Management, Inc. in 2007 where he and his business partners assist landowners in all aspects of forestland management from planning and inventory, through harvest oversight and revenue generation. Mark understands the finer details of timber valuation, conservation easements, forestland acquisition and disposition and has an intimate knowledge of the Western and Central Maine landscape. Mark resides in Turner where he and his family have owned and operated the North Parish Christmas Tree Farm for the past eleven years.

Jesse Studley
Jesse Studley – Maine Associate Broker
Jesse comes to Fountains Land with an extensive background in forestry, GIS mapping, and appraisal services. Currently, Jesse works for the James W. Sewall Company and Legacy Appraisal Services valuing large tracts of timberland in North, South and Central America. In addition, he worked on many conservation easement projects as well as single lots and subdivision properties. He is a Licensed Real Estate Appraiser in five states. Before his appraisal work, Jesse worked as a Procurement Forester and GIS Technician in New England. Jesse has a BS in Forest Ecosystem Science from the University of Maine and currently lives in Corinth.

Rick Sluss
Rick Sluss – Regional Manager - Clinton, Tennessee
Rick Sluss has been with F&W Forestry Services, Inc. since June of 2006. Prior to joining F&W Rick owned and managed Timberwise, Inc. where he managed +/- 100,000 acres of private timberlands for various clients. His current duties include managing private timberlands, acquisition and disposition of client lands, and real estate brokerage. His educational background includes a MS 1992 and BS 1990 in forestry from Virginia Tech. Rick lives in Powell, TN with his wife and three children.

Rob Routhier
Rob Routhier – Executive Vice President - Forest Operations
Rob has been a real estate licensee since 1992 and is currently the Georgia and South Carolina Qualifying Broker. He is also a GA Certified Real Property Appraiser and Registered Forester. After graduating Auburn University, where he received a BS degree in Forest Management, Rob joined F&W Forestry Services (Fountains Land’s parent company) in 1982. He is currently an Executive Vice President and primarily in charge of forest operations for F&W. Rob devotes time to Kiwanis, Boys and Girls Clubs, and the Association of Consulting Foresters currently serving as this group’s Southern Region Director.

Jody Strickland
Jody Strickland – Vice-President - Business Development
Jody Strickland is the Vice-President of Business Development for F&W Forestry Services. She provides timberland acquisition and sales services to clients throughout F&W’s U.S. and international service areas. She also works to develop business with new clients for all F&W services including forest management, timber sales, inventory, and accounting. Jody joined F&W in 2014 after a 22-year career at Weyerhaeuser and Proctor and Gamble where she held numerous leadership positions. Jody serves on numerous boards and councils throughout Georgia, all working to advance the forestry industry.

T.R. Clark
T.R. Clark – Regional Manager - Lafayette, Alabama
T.R. joined F&W Forestry Services, Inc. in 2003 and specializes in forest management, private timberland consulting and timberland brokerage and currently serves as F&W’s regional manager for Alabama. He has a BS in Forest Management from N.C. State University in Raleigh, North Carolina. He is a member of the Association of Consulting Foresters, is a Registered Forester in Alabama and Georgia, holds an Associate Broker’s License in Alabama and a Salesperson’s License in Georgia. He is also a Certified Prescribed Burn Manager. T. R. lives with his wife and three children in mid-west Georgia where he enjoys coaching his children’s ball teams, playing church league softball and basketball, children’s ministry opportunities and hunting and fishing, when time allows.

Doug Hall

Doug started his tenure with F&W Forestry in 1984, working for the company as a forester, field manager and client manager until 2007. Doug then worked for himself for seven years before returning to F&W in 2014 as a branch manager. Chad Hancock

Chad has been with F&W Forestry since 1995, having previously worked for Pioneer Forest Management. John Latham
John Latham – Real Estate Analyst and Salesperson - Albany, Georgia
John joined F&W in 2012 as an analyst specializing in timberland investment acquisitions, harvest scheduling, discounted cash flow analysis, technical writing, and economic analysis of timber and land markets. He has a Bachelor of Science degree in Biological Science from Clemson University, a Master of Forest Resources degree from the University of Georgia, and a Master of Business Administration degree from Georgia College & State University. Dennis LeBleu
Dennis LeBleu – Regional Real Estate Manager - LaFayette, Alabama
Dennis joined F&W in 1976 and specialized in timber management and rural real estate timber in the Southeastern United States. He has a BS degree in Forest Management from the University of Florida and is the Qualifying Broker for Alabama. He also has a Real Estate Salesperson license in Georgia and is a Registered Forester in Alabama and Georgia. Dennis currently resides in Auburn, Alabama, where his wife teaches at Auburn University. Nathan McClure
Nathan McClure – Regional Manger - Fountain Inn, South Carolina
Nathan manages all forestry operations in the western South Carolina region for F&W Forestry Services, Inc. He also has significant work experience performing wood supply studies for the forest industry and bioenergy companies. Nathan is a South Carolina and Georgia Registered Forester, a Society of American Foresters (SAF) Certified Forester, and a member of the Association of Consulting Foresters. He also holds a South Carolina Real Estate Salesperson license. Russ Weber
Russ Weber – Regional Manager - Gainesville, Florida
Russ became part of F&W after graduation from North Carolina State University in 1977 with a BS in Forestry. He has served in various positions with F&W from a staff and district forester in Albany, Georgia, to his current position since 1988 as the regional manager in Gainesville, Florida. He also serves on F&W’s Board of Directors. Russ holds a Florida real estate broker’s license and is a State Certified General Real Estate Appraiser. He has certifications and registrations from the Society of American Foresters as a Certified Forester and is a Georgia Registered Forester. Membership and participation in various organizations include: the Association of Consulting Foresters, Society of American Foresters, Florida Forestry Association and the Alachua County Land Conservation Board.
